Rudy Sotelo – Sales Manager / CEO

A Bay Area native, Rudy Sotelo graduated at the California State Polytechnic University of Pomona where Rudy received his Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture. Upon graduation, Rudy began work at one of the largest landscape maintenance firms in Northern California. During his tenure he received many company awards rising to be a Branch Manager. In early 2000, Rudy’s entrepreneurial spirit drove him to resign his Branch Manager position and start Petalon. Rudy is instrumental in driving sales and managing the organization.

Miguel Baez – Operations Manager

Miguel Baez has over 25 years of experience in landscape maintenance prior to joining Petalon. A former co-worker of Jon and Rudy, Miguel began his career in the landscape industry in 1983. Over the years Miguel has held almost every position in landscape operations management and has specific knowledge and expertise in all phases of landscape maintenance. These include safety training, operations management, and the use of recycled water systems. Miguel believes his success stems from his work ethic which he credits to his father.
